The College of Education and Professional Studies Celebrates its 25,000th Degree

The 91视频 College of Education and Professional Studies reached a historic milestone during Fall Commencement on Friday, Dec. 12, awarding its 25,000th degree. The milestone was celebrated alongside the Fall Class of 2025, which included 113 undergraduate degrees, 31 master鈥檚 degrees and 14 doctoral degrees.
Since its founding in 1967, the College has prepared graduates to lead and strengthen communities through classrooms, organizations and service across the Gulf Coast and beyond.
鈥淭his milestone represents decades of commitment to service, leadership and student success,鈥 said Dr. Angela T. Barlow, dean of the College of Education and Professional Studies. 鈥淓very degree reflects not only academic achievement, but the impact our graduates go on to make in the lives of others.鈥
The College is one of 11 colleges and schools at the 91视频. It supports 85 academic programs leading to six distinctive degrees, with programs accredited by national and state accrediting bodies, including the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation, Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs and the American Psychological Association.
As the College celebrates this milestone, it remains focused on preparing graduates with the knowledge, skills and purpose needed to serve others and lead with impact.
